This week at Maths we looked at how to find the area and the volume of 3d shapes. We first looked at nets that would form a cube. Then we tried to figure out the differences between volume, area and perimeter.

 The volume of a cube

V= l x w x h
   = n( tiny three/ cubed)

The Volume of a Triangular Prism

A= 1/2 x b x h                                       V= n x l
   = b x h                                                    = n(tiny 3/ cubed)
   = n/2
   = n( tiny 2/ squared)

  1. Hello, Lauren here :D. I really liked your explanation and think that you did a splendid job with explaining. I also enjoyed looking at the diagram on you added on your blog and I think it had a powerful impact on the reader, so great job with that! Looking forward to more epicness :)
